Staccato is the industry's first "zero intervention" backup automation product that eliminates virtually all administration of data stored on NetWare file servers. Staccato provides predefined tasks and built-in logic that automate backup and recovery, media handling and tape rotation, and error detection and resolution -- without administrator intervention.

Staccato protects data on a single NetWare 3 or 4 file server. It can be installed on any NetWare license from 5 to 1000 users, and supports a variety of autochangers. Staccato completely and reliably backs up all data residing on the server, including DOS, Macintosh, OS/2, and Unix files and associated name spaces, the bindery, and NetWare Directory Services. Staccato includes software for file recovery using Microsoft Windows, and is compliant with Novell's Storage Management Services.
